10/10, great meal and lovely service last Sunday. Would return.

This was the first of 2 visits in as many days to the Linden as we stayed at the hotel. The food and service were very good, although a couple of items were unavailable, which was strange for a Thursday evening, you’d expect that on maybe a Saturday evening after a busy shift. We felt some of the prices were a bit out of kilter tbh, Sourdough bread and an onion butter seemed expensive at £5.50, so we avoided it. On our second visit on the Saturday, once again one item unavailable, when I enquired as to why again, they didn’t have a fryer, bizarre. We opted for the Sourdough bread this time as it complimented our starters, as the non Sourdough bread with the starters was minuscule, when they arrived they were just Sourdough rolls, so having ordered 2 of these felt like a lot of money at over £12 including service for 2 rolls and butter. I frequent some of the most expensive bakeries for Sourdough bread at sometimes £6-£7 for a full loaf, which is at least 4 times the amount of bread than this, so a lesson learnt.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, great cocktails.

The team were very friendly, and helpful. Good selection of craft beers, lots of TVs for sport and they have Quiz Nights, Karaoke, DJs, Bottomless Brinches, just everything! We'll definitely be back
