Our mission is simple: Have a simple menu that allows us to focus special attention to every ingredient that comes into our building. We choose and use the best quality ingredients possible. We do not believe in premade, mass produced food. We source locally grown or raised products whenever possible and use one of the cleanest natural burning resources to heat our ovens. North Point Kitchen + Bar opened in 2023 by the Gilbert family, lifelong residents to the Chicago Northwest Suburbs. Chef and owner Joel Gilbert decided after years of searching for the perfect location that he was going to begin his journey with his first brick and mortar restaurant on the most Northern Point of Forest Lake, in Lake Zurich Illinois. After years of working and running restaurant establishments and working with his company Butter & biscuit Co. at local farmers markets, Joel has established great friendships and partnerships with some of the best local farmers.
