Being a free house we pride ourselves in the quality of our real ale, and concentrate on local breweries, such as Harvey's of Lewes and other micro breweries. Brilliant sunday lunch at the White Hart as per usual - the best sunday lunch in the area!! Staff are always excellent - friendly and attentive.

So thrilled to discover a foodie heaven within half an hours drive from home. Delicious fish and wonderful triple cooked chips and a melt in the mouth pork dish with a very skilful sauce. Eating in this beautiful historic inn is a pleasure we shall repeat at the first opportunity!

We went to the Blue Anchor as we had heard that the food was very good….how right they were! Delicious! Lovely staff…fab ambiance…service was excellent! A really lovely dinner with family, we would highly recommend this pub!

The service was friendly and the food came in a good amount of time. The food itself was very tasty and portion sizes were good.
