    The food was delicious! The wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. The noise level was rather high for such an upscale restaurant. One of the most expensive meals we've had in quite some time.

    Amazing experience! Food, service, ambience were all so good! For a nice restaurant the pricing is very fair. I absolutely recommend this restaurant!

    My family and I highly recommend The Chop House for dining and special occasions. We have never had a bad experience. The food is always excellant with healthy portions. Prices are excellant. The staff is friendly and we rarely have to ask for or remind our wait staff for beverage refills. That is a plus for me.

    We are VERY sad tho hear that the new landlords have informed Cafe on Lumpkin that they can no longer remain in their current space. This is very disheartening. I really hope they are able to continue in a different location, and I hope the new owner of the building understands how disappointed the Athens community feels about the closure of Cafe on Lumpkin.
