Ce restaurant rustique, qui est aussi une épicerie et une charcuterie, est situé dans le quartier des entrepôts (West Loop). Il offre une salle à manger spacieuse avec des poutres en bois, des briques apparentes et deux fours à bois. Le menu propose beaucoup de pizzas à croûte mince et des linguine aux fruits de mer dans une sauce aux tomates cerises épicée. L'épicerie-charcuterie située à l'avant du Macello tient des salaisons, des fromages et des aliments des Pouilles, le «talon» de l'Italie. Le mot «macello» désigne un abattoir.
