Odyssey Restaurant is a little chunk of Greece transported into the heart of Chesterfield, offering customers a journey of authentic flavours, sounds and the atmosphere of Greece.Owned and run by a Greek family, Odyssey is based in the centre of Chesterfield town on 1-3 Knifesmithgate, in a traditional English building and what used to be known as the old Queen’s Head. The owners have managed to bring the building back to life by marrying old English and Greek tradition, maintaining the beauty of the building, but also enhancing it with sites and the aroma of Greece.Among the many menu choices, one can find lovely Greek salad (horiatiki) to chicken, pork, vegetable or prawn skewers or a classic moussaka, rabbit stifado or meatballs with goat’s cheese. Mediterranean flavours and love for cooking Greek authentic recipes is the menu inspiration.

    Wonderful date night meal at Odyssey again - it's our favourite restaurant in Chesterfield 😍 Delicious food, tasty wines and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere with friendly, professional and attentive staff. This place never disappoints ❤️

    We did comment at the end of our meals that three out of the four meals were superb. One meal, however was not liked by one of our party. The gammon was described as dry, the potato was not mashed as ordered and the gravy was too salty. We did not request any refund or any response to our comments - just left the feedback.

    Food was lovely pub wasn’t that busy but we felt rushed waitress came for our empty plates asked if we would like dessert we did not so carried on chatting in our group she then brought the bill and left it on the table and then about 5 minutes after that she brought the card machine. In my experience in other restaurants they always wait for you to ask for the bill I could understand if the pub was busy and they needed the table. Just felt like they wanted us out.
