An overwhelming amount of work paled into insignificance against the excitement at what they thought could be created in this out of the way building with a very long and interesting history. A lot of hard labour ensued to create their vision of showcasing the best qualities of a modern pub; seamlessly combining carefully sourced, sophisticated yet familiar food and drink in a welcoming authentic pub environment. We had a lovely lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary, followed by cocktails sat on the terrace outside, the only thing that could be improved is more vegetarian choices on the menu.

We chose this locals' pub in St Agnes specifically to listen to some live music on a Sunday afternoon. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was friendly and we had a relaxing fun afternoon on a chilly February day.
