The food was more than excellent. Atmosphere good and service was quick. The only downside was when we first got in a drinks Me I was put on our table with a simple “these are drinks”. As the drinks menu had no headings it would have been nice to have been explained as to what was why. Similar with food we had to ask the waitress how many dishes to order for the party size ( as some are Lighter bites/tapas portions) Other than that though. Couldn’t fault it. Well done Fred and team

Last minute decision to try here turned out to be an excellent decision. We were welcomed warmly, and led to our table. Unfortunately it was a rainy dull evening, but the view over Crantock beach was still stunning. Our waiter was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, snd confident without being arrogant. The burrata starter with pesto and heritage tomatoes was excellent, and the hake I had as the main was the best fish dish I’ve had in a while. Don’t normally give 5* but there was no other score to give in this instance

We chose this locals' pub in St Agnes specifically to listen to some live music on a Sunday afternoon. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was friendly and we had a relaxing fun afternoon on a chilly February day.

As always great food and helpful staff. It’s a regular for us when in Newquay
