Our go to restaurant for special occasions. Today was my mum's birthday and she was treated like the queen that she is. Prosecco on arrival and a super meal. Very friendly waiting staff and superbly cooked Chateaubriand. Thank you!!

We ate at the Upper Deck on Monday 23rd September and enjoyed it so much that we returned on the Wednesday & Friday. Over the 3 days we tried a number of different dishes and all were excellent. The place has a relaxed atmosphere with great views across to Padstow. The service was professional and efficient but was also very friendly. We had a small dog with us and the space around the tables made it possible to tuck her in to a quiet corner so everything really worked for us and all added up to 3 really enjoyable evenings out.

The food was more than excellent. Atmosphere good and service was quick. The only downside was when we first got in a drinks Me I was put on our table with a simple “these are drinks”. As the drinks menu had no headings it would have been nice to have been explained as to what was why. Similar with food we had to ask the waitress how many dishes to order for the party size ( as some are Lighter bites/tapas portions) Other than that though. Couldn’t fault it. Superb welcome from the team and lovely insights into the building itself. My fussy OH just came along to humour me but he enjoyed the cheese doughnuts and the burger. I had the crab cocktail and the seafood macaroni, both of which were simply beautiful. All topped off with generous and delicous cheeseboard.To top it off the staff were super lovely to our pooch! All round fantastic!

So pleased they have brought back the wax roast wraps they are amazing, taste fantastic, perhaps the potatoes could be a bit more crispy on the outside, that would be my only complaint…. The chicken and beef was cooked to perfection. The gravy was delicious. And the sticky toffee pudding was heaven . Would definitely recommend…. And we will be back soon
