Hochi Mama was the God Mother of all aspiring street artists and rappers in the early nineties. An immigrant in the big city, she hosted underground art shows along with rap battles for the rejects; a place where you could just be at home, but with family.     Hochi Mama in Richmond is a must-visit! The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, the ambience is vibrant, and the prices are very reasonable. I can’t wait to go back!

    Had the best time at Love Letter restaurant and bar! The super friendly and attentive team made me feel so welcome right from the start. The Splice cocktail is AHHH-mazing – legit tasted like the ice cream! I also had the 250g eye fillet and wedge salad with thick-cut bacon, and wow, it was absolutely delicious. Such a fantastic spot – can’t wait to go back!

    1. Easy parking, both paid and on the street. All other gastropubs that I considered had no parking nearby, necessitating more than a block's walk 2. Attractive dining area 3. Very quiet at Saturday lunchtime. Tables not too close to each other, thick carpet. 4. Great meals. My sister and I had salmon with roast potatoes, and a side of charred broccolini. My brother and cousin had fettucini bolognese. 5. Prices reasonable.
