We were running late to our booking and we let them know so they graciously allowed us some extra time to arrive. Upon arrival we were stunned by the interior design and ambience. We were greeted by friendly and attentive staff. We were seated at a corner table allowing my partner to look out across the restaurant to a spectacular view of everyone dining and enjoying their evening. There is as open kitchen and a workbench so you may watch the chefs at work. We ordered a garlic parsley and mozzarella pizzetta and a trio of butter to start (which we dipped the crust in) which was amazing really yummy and doughy. And the garlic parsley pizzetta mixed with the butter was delicious. I had the ragu which was absolutely sublime rivalling my memories of the taste of beef ragus I’ve had in Italy. My partner had the Lumache with vodka sauce and ’nduja which was also really tasty and I believe one of go to dishes. To end the meal we shared a massive Tirimisu which was so creamy and delicious perfect way to end the meal. We had a 500ml decanter of the house red which was very nice and paired well with my ragu and my partner had the house orange wine which we weren’t totally sold on to be honest but wanted to try as we had never had it and understand that it is trendy at the moment. Overall we throughly enjoyed our time dining at Onda pasta bar and there was so much more on the menu which sounded so good and we would definitely dine again.
