Really enjoyed our meal at the Sharksfin I can highly recommend the delicious mussels , The grilled fish of the day was also excellent. Service was great and very good wine too

We had the best meal last night in a long time! Fresh cod was delicious and the king prawn linguini was absolutely gorgeous. I asked for non dairy sauce and the chef was happy to cater to my dietary needs. We had a lovely experience & the ambiance in the restaurant was nice. The service was great, knowledgeable & friendly staff. Thanks for a lovely evening. We can’t wait to return.

This was probably the best food we have had in the whole of Cornwall. EVER! So much better than the hyped up Rick Steins from our visit to the Cornish Arms the night before. A million miles better. We had oysters, cocktails, wine, Lobster tart starters amongst others then I had the lamb for main and deep fried Mars Bar desert with a wine pairing. Just delightful. Such great value for money too. Adam, please don’t hike up the prices! we loved the Frog in London (even at London prices) but don’t change these Cornwall pub food holiday prices. Everyone needs to experience your food to realise there is so much over priced rubbish out there. This is food with flavour. Well done kitchen team!! Also the staff were delightful. Specially Jonny. Thanks for your explanations and info. So onto the interior, LOVE LOVE LOVE! Artwork is sublime, dried flowers gorgeous and seating very comfy and well spaced. We will be back. Maybe tonight ;-)

We love the long store, but had dinner downstairs in the cellar. The cellar is great for drinks, but the food wasn’t particularly hot when it got to us, which I guess is due to it coming down the stairs. There was also only one waitress working in the cellar covering the bar and tables.. would be better to have two on to ensure guests aren’t waiting to order more drinks etc. The waitress was lovely though, she went upstairs to take a photo of the specials board for us. We also got complimentary potato shavings, as there was a bit of a wait on food. The food is always great, just a shame it wasn’t hot. Wouldn’t put us off coming back, but just drinks in the cellar next time and food upstairs.
