Down South CaJJun Eats was founded by twin brothers Jahmaal and Jermaine Dumes in the Spring of 2017. While Studying at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX they decided to take a leap of faith. Originally from Beaumont, TX, they felt a tremendous part of their lives was missing in Austin. And that was Crawfish!!Coming from a family of cooks, they’ve always dreamed of starting a restaurant in their home state. With the help and support of family and friends, they were able to make this dream come alive.We take pride in our authentic style of cooking and strive to give you the full Down South CaJJun experience with great food, great people, and a great time! Our waitress Erica was amazing!! Chicken wings under cooked, no eggrolls, drinks were great and tasty. Seafood and the chicken/shrimp Pasta were great. But the establishment is inconsistent and food over priced. This is more of a happy hour spot for me

The Kadai Chicken was to die for! First time I ate here and was so impressed by the food. The Kofta was incredible also. We will be going back soon!
