Positioned on the East Side Beltline trail, The James Room is a dark and moody cocktail lounge that is meant to be a place where you can leave your stresses at the door and immerse in the energetic vibrations of our cozy and intimate space. Upon entry, an upscale coffee shop takes your gaze. During the day, the cafe intriguingly offers unique flavors such as sea salt lavender and rosemary sage, or you can opt for a classic vanilla or caramel addition to your joe if you fancy. A few paces away is an inconspicuous door disguised as a bookcase, leading to the speakeasy area equipped with a peculiar mood. The atmosphere feels intimate yet communal and invokes a sense of leisure. The fine leathers and premium seating upgrade your typical lounge visit to an elevated, exclusive treat.     Great environment. Vibes were on point for a birthday celebration. The ambiance was perfect, and the music wasn't so loud that it triggered me. I was able to enjoy every dish 10/10. The waiter was very kind, energetic, and knowledgeable of the establishment, and the drinks were pretty good. The location wasn't hard to locate. I liked that MBG offered outdoor seating as well. My only recommendation is to keep the serving dishes full at all times. I wasn't able to enjoy what I truly wanted the first go-round because 4-5 serving dishes were empty. I had to wait and come back. I'd also recommend signs that state whether the foods include pork or what's a vegetarian dish. I would have enjoyed having a waiter explain the order of dishes (example: breakfast items are mostly at the beginning of the line and dinner is at the end. That way, I could have planned what I'd eat). I will most definitely be back with friends and family! Thank you for the hospitality. - Kita

    Atlanta is supposed to be know for wings. This is the first place where the wings were a good size! The sauce is just ok but if you like Ranch then you’ll be great! Drinks were STRONG, so that was a plus! The Lit, Island and margarita are a must have!

    Excellent experience overall. Brandon (apologize for spelling if different) was great. He gave us a solid recommendation on the Chicken Biscuit. It was delicious and I highly recommend it! Food portions were good, and price was fair. Will definitely be back!
