We loved Blaq. When the waiter found out it was our wedding anniversary he came back with complimentary champagne which we really appreciated. The ambiance is just lovely - the decor and background music was very stylish. The meals were generous sized servings. Only small criticism was the limited menu options. Neither of us eat seafood and the chicken option was off the menu (sold out?) so we weren’t left with a lot to choose from. Fortunately we both loved our starters and main meals. We were too full for dessert but they sounded delicious. Service was great. Definitely recommend Blaq if you are a local or a tourist.

Stunning setting looking out at eastern end of Jamison valley. Relaxed atmosphere and good service, a small but distinctive and high-quality menu with an excellent wine list.

Great flavours though one vegetarian in the group thought options were limited. Dumplings, seafood omelette, spicy pork & tofu stew all great dishes. Did struggle to hear conversation at times due to noise. Service was great & attentive
