The Michelin Starred, Fordwich Arms, located in the smallest town in England, dates as far back as 1828. Welcoming, warm on a freezing cold day, excellent staff from cloakroom to front of house. Attentive, but not overbearing. Made us feel very special. Food appealed to all 4 of us and was enjoyed. Relaxing, not rushed. Overall, a great experience and can’t wait to go back.

Superb. Staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. It is a sharing menu, much like tapas so food arrives when ready rather than how it is ordered. I would highly recommend it.

Great welcome, first class service, excellent food with bumper portion sizes. Brisket was truly melt in mouth and really well seasoned. Our 8 year old grandson loved it and said the presentation of the starters reminded him of Masterchef! Well worth the 80 mile round trip. Highly recommended and we will be back.
