We visit the Red Lion frequently and have never had any complaints. Sadly today our starter Frito Misto was a huge disappointment. £11.95 for 3 tiny pieces of calamari,1 prawn, 1 scallop and a very small piece of octopus, on the plus side the chilli jam was nice! Apart from the starter, the mains, desserts and service were outstanding. We will still be visiting again very soon.

What a find. Absolutely stunning pub. A warm welcome from behind the bar as we walked in, the young man behind the bar was very good. A great wine list, some lovely snacks and the menu was great as well.

This is mine, and my family's favourite restaurant, in our County and surrounding areas. Whenever we have to eat somewhere it is now always compared to the Snooty Fox. Nothing comes up to scratch for service, food and general atmosphere. You could wear jeans and trainers or a fancy dress and not feel out of place. Every single course or every single meal, is perfect from start to finish. Most of my life I have invited family and friends to mine for dinner. Now it is, I would rather pay to go to the Snooty and its better than we could do at home and for probably less money. When there is a birthday or special event they are more than accommodating with cakes and singing etc. I could not recommend this restaurant highly enough!!! Superb friendly efficient service, we keep returning here as a result. The food was amazing and the rump steak was so succulent. Great portion sizes and we left feeling full. This place is brilliant, a real gem.

We came for a belated Father’s Day celebration meal. We ordered 4 of the small starter plates to share. Particularly Loved the Arancini & tempura veg. Our mains were al excellent. I had the trout which was perfectly cooked. Several ordered puddings & were all very happy. The pub was nicely busy but not noisy. Service was attentive & friendly. Overall we had a great time & will definitely be back.
