For many years, William had wanted to open his own restaurant & finally he has. "The Cart Shed".Showcasing the best of local and seasonal food, much of which will have been produced on the family farm, but we aim not to travel more than 10 miles for any of our ingredients (except for the odd exotic like lemons for your G&T).We have rejuvenated the horticultural side of the farm. Along with poultry, quail and squab pigeons the farm is providing much of the food served in the restaurant.William & his friends will also be out with their guns & fishing rods to provide a little wild meat for the table such as venison, partridge, trout not to mention the humble wood pigeon and rabbit.After a couple of years of interruption caused by COVID & life things are now back to normal with a new team & a newly refurbished restaurant.We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Tout manger du museau à la queue signifie que, le cas échéant, toutes les parties de l'animal doivent être utilisées dans la cuisine. Ainsi aux côtés d'un rôti de boeuf et d'une limande sole, vous seront aussi proposés de la rate de porc, des rognons et du cœur de bœuf, du foie et des tripes ainsi qu'une salade de persil et d'os à moelle, véritable plat signature. Bien que souvent déconseillé aux végétariens, ce restaurant saura leur préparer des plats adaptés à base de bons produits, avec le même soin que celui apporté à la viande, au poisson, aux volailles et aux desserts.
