Food was good. I didn’t care for the spicy garlic noodles that I chose as an entree but the appetizers were yummy—lechon style brussels and sticky ribs. Service was very friendly and atmosphere was great for having a fun lunch catching up with a friend. I would definitely go again to try other menu items.

Kuni’s a long time Japanese Cuisine Restaurant located in the heart of Waipahu. Local favorites include Barbecue Tofu (made with a special sauce grilled to perfection and served on a sizzling Hot plate). Love their Sukiyaki wether it’s Beef, Pork, or Chicken. Lots of good fresh ingredients prepared with care, delightfully delicious.

Rob was a good server with lots of back-up from the rest of the staff. I was happy that the food quality was still very good & my favorites: prime rib & clam chowder were still great! My aunty & uncle really enjoyed their first time at Bird of Paradise. I forgot to ask about their "points" program but it seemed to have changed so I don't know if they have that type of program anymore.

Server Caleb and Manager Chance was friendly and food was delicious.
