Great place for an excellent Sunday lunch. Food really nice and service very polite and attentive.

We have nothing but praise for this lovely place. We requested a quiet area as my mother is disabled and has dementia and can struggle in busy environments. The waitress spotted this request on our booking and showed us to a quiet table, whilst sensitively and discreetly saying to me that we were welcome to swap chairs around if that would be more helpful. The kitchen staff were happy to honour our request that the meat on my mother’s plate was cut smaller than ours to help her eat independently. These things made for a very relaxed and enjoyable time for us all. Sometimes eating out for our family can be difficult but the kindness of the staff here ensured we had a lovely time and it meant the world to us. The food was outstanding (x3 roast meals and a burger - all delicious!), as well as some wonderful desserts). We will absolutely be back! Thank you to everyone for your kindness and a lovely lunch x

Lovely evening in Pear & Olive. Friendly service. My husband finds his cod slightly salty and the sauce is a bit rich. We both love the starters, courgettes with goat cheese and chalk stream trout. Will definitely visit again.

We booked a table for Sunday, unfortunately the new owners hadn’t been in long so their booking system was down and didn’t show our booking. It was ok, as they had tables spare but sadly no Sunday menu - only a limited one. Was disappointed but the food was still absolutely lovely, really good quality but portion sizes could have been bigger for the price. That being said, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The ambiance was lovely and the overall experience was good and we will definitely return when they have established their full menu!

Great food and beer even on a very quiet night just after New Year.
