The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. We cater for different palettes and today’s changing tastes including children, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. As our dishes are prepared and cooked in house, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs.We pride ourselves on serving locally produced real ales. The Red Lion is a relaxed pub with a short menu of 6 to 8 main courses using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients such as vegetables grown at Bryn Celyn veg in Llangors and meats produced locally with the pub farmer owned. We have put a lot of attention into our wine list with diverse and interesting global wines. We also have a full bar with a great selection of draft and bottles beers. The pub refurbished in 2023 to a high standard using traditional building materials.
