Called in when visiting the area. The welcome was lovely and the whole feel of the place was friendly. The roast beef was very good and my husbands pie was excellent Staff and service very good

Meal of the year, hands down. Started with on-point Negroni (me) + a glass of Cremant (my wife) and those seriously classy smoked cod’s roe gougéres. Starters - Carrot Vinaigrette, St Jude's Cow's Curd, Walnuts + Wild Rabbit, Partridge & Duroc Pork Terrine, Medlar Jelly, Toast - both stunning. Mains - Jacob's Ladder, Beer Onions, Black Cabbage, Polenta, Sage + Sweetbread & Bloodcake Hogget Heart Crépinette, Hispi Cabbage, Mash, Madeira Sauce. The latter undoubtedly the best offal dish I’ve ever eaten, still grinning about it now. Dessert - shared an Apple Tarte Fine, Cinnamon Cream + a coupe of amazing Negroni jellies - seriously like a Negroni Tangfastics 😊. All accompanied by a lovely bottle of Reuilly. To find food this good in the perfect country pub setting is an absolute joy. So grateful to have this place within walking distance of our front door. Thank you Greyhound

Love this place. Great food, lovely ambience, and wonderful, helpful and attentive staff.

Set menu for two worth while. Lots of excellent food and gluten free was catered for. Waiter was excellent, lovely evening. Nice to have somewhere in Stowmarket at such a high standard.

We have eaten many times at Cote but tonight we noticed a marked difference in the portion sizes. The Fish Parmentier was definitely smaller than previously and my husband’s cheeseboard was lamentable. It really isn’t value for money any longer which is a shame as we have previously been huge fans.
