Mono Cliffs Inn is a gem, and well worth a drive in the country! Great food, service and atmosphere!

This was our first time going and will NOT be our last. The ambiance was nice and open and the tables still felt Private. Cindy was a great server and had great and helpful knowledge of the menu and helped us make some amazing choices. The food let me tell you was outstanding. My wife had their Chicken with Mushrooms and rice pilaff and I had their Cod with asparagus risotto and it was to die for. The portion sizes are normally disappointing in a higher end restaurant but not here, so come hungry. I wish we had room for the desert as they sounded amazing. Lastly I would like to say a little something about Scott he was their beverage and wine manager and help with an amazing wine that accompanied both our meals. Not only is he a wealth of knowledge he was super friendly and really wanted us to enjoy our experience. I would highly recommend The Vista by Chef Denis. Weather you’re local to Orangeville or are coming up from the city it WORTH the drive.

There were three of us. The only issue was that our meals were coolish. The restaurant was not busy so we found this strange. I personally had a meal that I order all the time at Montanas (the chicken burrito bowl). It was served on a plate because our waiter said that they were out of bowls (even though the restaurant was quiet). The dish was cool and overall not very good compared to what I am used to.

Been to Brantford recently and that was outstanding food but the service was not. Server Claire in Orangeville was lovely, just overrun with a section she didn't know she had. She still did an excellent job. The garlic bread pull apart was good, but for $10 should have had more of everything. Sadly the ribs were dry and I had to ask for more sauce on my extra sauce ribs. The corn bread and fries were sub par as well, and a bread was missing on a critical plate. Three of us had the same ribs, our fourth had a perfectly cooked steak. They were not the birthday boy and girl. We had no acknowledgment of our double birthday either. Bit disappointing. Kitchen needs to really get it together. We had quite the wait, they had time to get it done right. We didn't complain, long drive home for both of us.

This was our first time in Orangeville and therefore our first time at Main Street. The service and food were excellent. I can’t recall our server’s name but she was so sweet and accommodating. Will definitely be back.
