Awesome food. Lovely. Just a bit pricey with the Melb cup Public holiday surcharge added. We were surprised it applied as van loons isn’t in the Melbourne metropolitan area and Geelong doesn’t get the PH. Will go back for the food though. Overall very good

First time visitors to The Whiskery. Our table for 2 became 3 when our friend joined us...no problem for staff. Seated outside in beautiful weather. First drinks came in good time. Pizzas were awesome. Whiskey paddle delicious. Why haven't we visited sooner, our new favorite place on the Bellarine.

Great vibe, lots of age groups enjoying the gorgeous setting out on the grass. Thank goodness we made a booking…people without one were turned away in front of us. Without a word, our table in the sun was immediately moved to the shade. Wifi wasn’t working so we had to queue to order food & drinks at the bar - no biggie. Food was fresh and tasty, wine was chilled & delicious. Only criticism: we ordered a big platter, with a choice of 2 cheeses…we ordered the blue but received a cheddar in its place. Not the end of the world & not worth annoying the busy, friendly (& very accomodating) wait staff. We’re Melbournians & have been here many times over last few years.

Food and ambience made it feel like we were in Greece again. We had to wait due to its popularity to get a booking but it was worth the wait. The staff and food were excellent and we look forward to regularly dining at Kala!
