Lovely food and venue apart from all the dogs. Very friendly and courteous staff.

The staff were very helpful, my preference for no cream was accomodated with no fuss. We were able to have a table in the garden and very much enjoyed the ambience. The food was nicely served and very tasty, Especially the sausage roll! We would recommend and will revisit.

Wow - what a lovely late afternoon lunch.. the burgers were as epic as ever.. and we got our first spell in the new courtyard garden - which is idyllic. We had a brilliant time. Thanks as always.

Largely a positive experience. Most of the food was delicious and they were very careful about checking gluten content for the coeliac in our party. There was an issue with the vegan creme brulee which was replaced and all the servers were charming. The acoustics aren't hearing aid friendly but the decor is soft , subtle and comfortable. I would go again...though it's not a cheap date!.

We have been staying in different areas of the Cotswolds for a few years now and decided to try stow on the wold and booked into the Stag,was really pleased in the way we were greeted and shown to our room,perfect for a nights stay,power shower was Amazing..the restaurant/bar was perfect and food delightful,Highly recommend the Stag at Stow…
