Water Wheel Tavern is an historic Bucks County landmark originally built in 1714 by John Dyer, an English Quaker. It existed for centuries as a water wheel driven grist mill, and later hosted both a post office and a general store.     I happened to find this place on the Internet when I was looking for a cool martini bar/restaurant vibe for my friend‘s 50th birthday party. It did not disappoint! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, there was live music and a very swanky feel to the place. The presentationof the food and especially the drinks was artistic and clever. This is definitely on the shortlist for next time!

    Excellent service, delicious food and very reasonable prices. My veal with portobello mushrooms and hazelnuts in a Frangelico cream sauce was sooo delicious. The portions were generous with enough leftover for another dinner. The warm bread that they give you with olive oil and garlic dip is delicious! We’ve been here before and we will definitely return.

    Terrain’s food was very good. My partner’s Frittata was a bit overdone but my pasta (mushroom:butternut squash) was excellent. The flower pot bread with house-made butter was wonderful. Fresh, tasty, creamy. Appetizer Fried Quinoa with the yogurt sauce was lovely. Our server Luci was such a kind soul; catered to our needs and was very engaging and attentive. The ambiance was serene, incorporated horticulture and very beautiful.

    Great staff! We had a reservation through Open Table and were running late. We called the restaurant and they were more than accommodating. The food is always on point. Cocktails are still great, but I miss the Hat Trick drink. #bringitback …please!
