The Daffodil is a Michelin-awarded food-led country pub, with high quality Shepherd's Hut accommodation (bookable directly via The Daffodil website and via Air B&B) in the pretty rural village of Penrhiwllan. Located 4 miles from Newcastle Emlyn, midway between Cardigan, Carmarthen & Aberystwyth, it's an ideal location for a few days rest or a relaxing meal in scenic surroundings. Food at The Daffodil is freshly prepared using the best quality local produce wherever possible. The menu, available to guests eating in the restaurant, bar areas and outside decking over-looking the unspoilt valley incorporates dishes appropriate for full three-course dining and for those wishing for more traditional bar-meal-style dining. At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts.
