We went without starters needed to save room for puddings,out of my party three had the Beef Sunday dinner all said it was very nice and good portions a fourth had the Pork again this was said to be very nice another had the pie and mash which he said was really nice I myself went for the trio of Beef,Pork and chicken it was lovely the only downside was the waitress explained there was no Leeks in cream sauce but would be replaced with red cabbage which we were happy with only thing is we did not receive the red cabbage but must say we did not miss it so there must have been enough on our plates ha ha. On the puddings Three had the sticky toffee pudding which was delicious another had the crumble and custard with another having cheesecake we were all very pleased with these choices.

Good friendly service. Had the burritos sharing. The mini burritos were not mini and were excellent. We went on a Friday night when they had live music, good but he was competing with a group of seven. Not the restaurant’s fault.

Great food. Staff were really nice. Food was delivered quickly and was well worth the money. Would definitely recommend.

1st time having Sunday lunch,must say the portions on the 3 meat option was very generous. If I had to knit pick, the plates were luke warm, but the food was hot, so halfway through the meal, the food got slightly cold. Also no sauce choices available or mustard or apple sauce or horseradish. Staff were great , very efficient and friendly. We will be using the Hen House again in the near future.
