Superb lunch with perfectly judged service. Matchless in all respects. Food best described by someone with a good deal more adjectives than I know. Save to say that one will remember starter, mains, and pud as gold standard dishes by which to measure other Somerset establishments - and gawd help them. Ambience one star short, simply because there were few of us in for lunch and the buzz lesser for that. Though that too, a little harsh methinks, so up that to five please. (It might be a good idea to be able to see my star rating whilst writing this, as I cannot get back to it and the more one thinks about the experience the more one is inclinded to revise, in this case ever upwards.) Will visit again whenever I need to flatter someone important. All the best, Rod

Food was extremely good and very nice service. We were seated in the bar area and the experience was only slightly marred by muzak that was a bit too loud. Prices are a bit on the high side too. Otherwise would happily return.

We were dubious about the new Japanese inspired dishes appearing on the tapas menu but we didn’t need to worry. They were delicious. Who would think Japanese could inspire tasty small dishes that work well with Mediterranean ones! The crispy fried tofu was my favourite whilst my husband loved the sashimi.

Great Food, will definitely come again. Chose Venison Pie, with Fresh Buttered Greens, no Carrots though 😒.

Great food and great service - the food from the kitchen and the drinks from the bar were fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
