Restaurants près de Carpenter Park

We had a 4:00 pm seating in the bar area. We like to eat early and avoid the dinner crowd which brings a lot of noise. We had Joel as our server and he was lively, enthusiastic, and kept a close eye on our needs without being overbearing. He quickly learned everybody’s name in our party and used them throughout the night. He made the night even more special with his knowledge on the wines and recommended some good for the ladies, I had beer which is my preferred beverage. By the way…the food is in my opinion always a hit and never has let me down. There was a little confusion at the end with our check, but it was easily corrected. A good night and we left smiling and laughing.

First time for dinner—yum!! And a birthday toast, thank you!

I really enjoyed our meal at Tequila Val's. I feel the ingredients are very fresh in their entrees, sauces and especially the tableside quac, is awesome! We went for an early dinner on Friday at 430pm, and we were seated right next to another filled table. I wish they would have spread us out and left an empty table in between. A very large group came in for Friday Happy Hour after work, who were quite loud at the bar area. Had we been seated farther from the bar, may have been better for our table conversation, as we would not have had to compete with others conversation. Overall our experience was very enjoyable and we will be back.

Great food, service and ambience. The smashed potatoes were out of this world.

Busy time past 1 pm. Been there frequently but service slower than usual this time. Usual Favorite shrimp skewer was served overcook and lukewarm and was disappointing. Shrimp scampi, coconut shrimp, dragon shrimp served hot and it was satisfying experience. Too bad they have no shrimp Rangoon.
