Fabulous carvery and great service even though they were extremely busy. We had originally considered an alternative sunday dinner provider but had happened on some locals who were booked in to The Smugglers for the carvery. we had eaten there last year and the food was good but not sampled the carvery,what better recommendation than local patronage! Really well cooked meats, tasty veg and smiley friendly service. Great band (MC2) featuring the landlord for entertainment- what could've made it better ? - more phantom of the opera played expertly by said landlord on the keyboard as a warm up :)

Brilliant. Food was interesting, tasty, service great, the pub itself is great. The only issue I would say is the portions are very small. The lamb on the “larger menu” was tapas size. £180 for 2 people, 4 courses and sides and we could have eaten more However, I will be straight back. Probably order more sides . Really good overall great addition to Newquays food options

Visit the longstore a lot. Never had a bad meal. Only thing we will say is that the châteaubrion wasn’t as tender as it could have been. But still edible. Our server was Katie and she did a very good job at serving us. She was pleasant and always smiling.

Found this restaurant after a Trip advisor search to find dog friendly eateries. This restaurant came up as No. 1. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile, shown to our seats, given menus and shown the specials board. The ambience within the restaurant felt cosy with subtle background music playing. The food was all superb with attention to detail given to flavour and portion sizes. We did not leave hungry! The costing is more aligned to an up market gastro establishment and I feel reasonable for what is offered. Highly recommend a visit here!!
