Great vibe. Great beverage options. Great food, though small serving size leaves you still feeling hungry (at least for the delectable market fish). Nice ambiance but very very loud which really limits conversation between friends. Friendly, attentive and efficient staff. This is no place to take your vegetarian friends.

Delicious chicken schnitzel, salad and chips. The garlic sauce (although cost extra) was incredible. Prices were reasonable for lunch with lots of specials even on a weekend. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be heading back there.

The meal was great value for money. It was a typical country pub and we enjoyed it very much.

We went at 530pm...not many others there. Booked to sit outside but decided by the fire was a great idea. Staff were lovely...same as last time I visited a few years back. Awesome feel to the old pub..is why we booked there.
