The Club Tavern and Grill was originally The Grantree Restaurant when three men from Conrad, Montana purchased it in 1985. The Felska’s and the Solvie’s came to Bozeman motivated by the prospect of building or buying a Conference Center.They discovered that the Ramada Inn, (hotel, restaurant, and conference center) was in bankruptcy so they purchased the business. Once a dark 70’s style bar and casual dining restaurant, it also featured a fine dining area.In 1999, The Grantree Restaurant was revised and remodeled to give it a more casual Montana feel.In 2008, the Partners decided to change the name and again do a remodel with more of an upscale sport’s bar style hence creating what today is The Club Tavern and Grill, Bozeman’s Upscale Sport’s Bar with 20 TVs, a Casino, Full Bar, and Sports packages. Ive eaten here serveral times. Each time the food and service are outstanding. The chicken succotash menu entry is one of my favorites. Generous portions always insure that I have a healthy take-away. The tables are spaced far enough apart so that real conversation is possible even when the restaurant is full.

This is a wonderful restaurant in Bozeman. Close to fine dining as you will find. I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10. The night before we dined at the new BISTRO restaurant in town. A real "find" and I'd rate it a 10. Both are worth visiting, but BISTRO was one notch better.

Delicious food and great service, as always. Prices are up, but they're up everywhere. That won't stop us from going there for special occasions.

Friendly staff, delicious food, reasonably priced. Probably the best dining you'll find in and around Helena. I would definitely recommend the Highlander if your looking for a good meal!
