Le restaurant Amoura, situé au coeur de South San Francisco, a apporté une cuisine méditerranéenne moderne à la Bay Area lorsque ses portes ont ouvert au début de 2015. La famille Shihadeh (propriétaire des établissements School House Grocery, Deli Up Café et Amoura Café dans SFO et Westfield Mall) a fait équipe avec le consultant culinaire David Wilcox pour créer un menu composé de grands classiques ainsi que de plats uniques, tous reflétant l'esprit et les saveurs de la Méditerranée. Situated inside the Lighthouse Hotel in Pacifica, Moonraker serves lunch, dinner and happy hour!A large selection of fresh seafood dots the Moonraker menu with items like Dungeness crab, Chef's selection of oysters and ahi poke. Other options from "the land" include pot roast, steak, chicken parmesan and a vegetarian tagine. The chef makes a lot of the offerings gluten free, like crispy calamari and coconut prawns. Be sure to save some room for bananas foster bread pudding or campfire s'mores with a table side hibachi.

    Had the $168 omakase option for my friend's birthday dinner and they were so nice and accommodating!! She absolutely loved it! Ambiance: The restaurant itself is such a cute little space! We sat at the bar for the omakase, which I highly recommend you do. Service: Excellent! Our plates were always cleared so quickly and my water was refilled constantly. Food: Super fresh and yummy! They have kizami wasabi, which I love, and the uni was my fave. My friend doesn't eat meat (she's a pescatarian) and they were able to accommodate for her, which I really appreciated. They even put a candle in her dessert! Overall, you should check this place out if you're in the area! I'll definitely be back!

    As always, the location had plenty of parking and wasn't too crowded. We made Priority reservations, in advance, through OpenTable. We were seated within 2-3 minutes upon arrival for dinner. Our meal consisted of the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, 1lb snow crab, salmon dinner, and I had the Lobster Punch for my cocktail. Everything came out hot and appealing to eat. Our server was a little more attentive with others than to my Mother and I, but other staff stepped in when necessary.
