Excellent food with a lovely informal atmosphere, I am dairy intolerant and the menu was excellent with plenty of options for me. My husband had steak, I had the chicken ( adapted for dairy free) , both were very good as was the service. We will definitely be back. We were staying for a couple of nights, they are so dog friendly and provide an excellent breakfast as well.

Booked our table via Opentable on line with no problems, the pub is in a lovely village and looks like everything you want in a country pub. Our dog was welcome which was great. The staff and locals were all friendly and the food was lovely! We had Fish n chips x2, the aubergine curry, the steak burger and the lasagna pie which we all enjoyed, a very satisfying visit. Thanks!

Without a doubt the finest steak and ale pie I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot!). Great menu catering for all tastes, my 11 year old son was impressed by the vegetarian options. All in all a most enjoyable dining experience. Thank you

Great food with lovely friendly staff. Very helpful with a gluten free choice for granddaughter who is celiac . No problem with our dog who laid down on a towel next to our table . Thank you all staff at TJs
