First time back there in a while, had a fabulous evening with friends, food was delicious, an bingo entertaining as always, so we were happy all round.

Excellent service and some of the best food I have had for a while. Well worth a visit.

Amazing service for my pup’s 1st birthday celebration!! Rebekah was the most attentive and fantastic server, even going so far to bringing a doggy ice cream with candle to sing happy birthday!! I honestly couldn’t have wished for a nicer experience… all the servers were so accommodating.. we ate from the weekend brunch menu and everything was delicious… this will now become a place I can see us frequenting often ❤️

I really want to give Red Dog Southampton 5 stars as we had an excellent meal but there are a couple of elements holding it back from the full 5 stars. Firstly, the reason we went - smoked meat and burgers were unquestionably a full 5. Delicious. Secondly the staff work really hard and don't stop. They try to accommodate as quickly as they can and timings were pretty perfect but because they try and split the service on one table between multiple staff there are some issues. We were delivered meals that were destined to other tables twice and were missing the sausage off of our platter. None of this hampered our experience and the staff were great but it holds them back from a full 5. The sides we had were mash and Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was very basic with liquid American cheese whereas an authentic high quality Mac and cheese from America will use different cheeses and not be the toxic orange American cheese colour. The mash might as well have come from Tobey Carvery as it was just ok mash and gravy. A bit lumpy but edible. No dirty fries available. I want to finish my review on a positive note and say that we had an excellent time and thought that they executed their Unique Selling Point (smoked meat and burgers) perfectly and we would recommend this place to anyone and will be back. 4/5 total score with some constructive criticism to boot.
