Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century. The girl that served us was very pleasant and efficient. No complaints with the food all served hot and freshly cooked. It was nice to be able to see your food being prepared in the open kitchen.

in my opinion this is the best pub to eat in the Doynton, Marshfield area, the menu is very creative, we all had the pigeon starter & two had the sole, one the partridge & I had the calves liver, all presented & cooked beautifully. The staff are very professional & know exactly how to manage a restaurant & converse with customers. I was surprised that prices were lower than expected.
