Thousand Pound is back and better than ever. Reopening on Thursday, 5 September, in the heart of Main Street, Rutherglen, our beloved local is unveiling a refreshed menu for Spring 2024. Executive Chef Jack Cassidy (also of KIN, New Regional Restaurant of the Year 2024) has crafted an exciting fusion of modern Australian and Asian influences, featuring vibrant flavours from China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Nepal. Always a top notch place for great food, good local wine list and central location. This little town is so lucky to have places of this calibre to dine. Service was attentive without being intrusive and the young waitress endured my wife’s friendly interrogation with aplomb. Nice work 1000pounds, never a disappointment.
