    We have been coming to York for short stays for a few years now. After visiting this pub for a Sunday lunch I can only strongly recommend you go there yourselves and try the best Sunday dinner we've had in York. The choices that you can choose from are brilliant from a variation of meats to the vast amount of vegetables to get. Its truly a traditional Sunday lunch. The staff we're excellent and couldn't do enough so thank you for an amazing meal on our last day before we go home.

    We have not been to this restaurant for some time but were blown away by our meal, the dine and service last night. The welcome from Kayleigh was super warm. The whole restaurant felt warm and welcoming with really lovely surroundings. Food was local and absolutely delicious. A great wine list and a lovely server completed an awesome experience. We will be back

    Loved this restaurant - the food was lovely but what made this place was the staff. Everyone do friendly and could not have been more accommodating.

    We had a lovely meal. The service was great with the waitress being friendly and efficient. The fish and chips was very tasty and the sticky toffee pudding delicious.
