    My experience was horrible. I had to write my displeasure directly to the Manager because not only did we eventually not eat from this place due to no service, but there were other factors that we considered needed the Managers' attention immediately if this restaurant is serious about serving every customer who enters through their doors.

    I must start by saying I have never had a bad experience here, however, this time was not good. We meet friends for a nice dinner in a well established restaurant feeling confident that this was going to be a great night. Our hostess indicated we had 2 hours only for dinner, then our waitress did not come to our table for 15 minutes once we were seated. She was socializing with a single person table for a long period of time and once she was done walked past our table without acknowledging us. We actually had to flag her down to place our cocktail order. Once our drinks arrived we were encouraged to order dinner which we did and promptly received our starters. Dinner came shortly after and then once we has finished our meal the bill was placed on our table. No mention of how was your meal, or dessert. We asked for a dessert menu and our waitress said that we could not be accommodated The waitress stated that our table was required to be placed among several other tables for a large party and we had to pay up and leave. We asked if there was another table we could be seated at and she said she would ask. Please note there was only 1 table inside that had customers seated and multiple tables that were not being used for the expected large party. She came back and said yes she could move us, but by this time we all had had enough of our experience and decided to leave. I feel that if there was an overlap with tables the hostesses should have put us in an area of the restaurant that would not have interfered with the large table instead of rushing us out. Especially since the waitress was not on our table quicker. I am quite disappointed with our experience and embarrassed for our guests who were with us. There were so many better ways to approach this and make everyone’s night more enjoyable.

    Hotel Eldorado Sunday Brunch was excellent, Main food selection was fantastic and the desserts were to die for.

    Lovely ambience, terrific service. Took good care of our elderly guest with flexibility in the meal. The goat cheese tart is fabulous!

    The atmosphere and the food were very good. They were short staffed and it took half an hour before we even had anyone come over to pour us water and ask us if we would like a cocktail. It turned around after that and had a very pleasant evening. They just need more staff.

    What a mess - orders was incorrect, but server disappeared so that corrections couldn’t be made in time to get replacements. The replacement came back incomplete, and I was supposed to wait for the whole dish. My partner’s poached egg had bits of eggshell in it. I had to request a mimosa 3 times. The eggs Benedict had a weird biscuit at the bottom, that was not a good replacement (mushy and just threw off the whole dish). It’s an expensive venue, and you’d hope it would be a nice experience, but it was truly the amateur hour.

    The new chef's take on the menu was amazing. As a long-time resident and frequent visitor of The El, I can confidently say this last visit was the best yet. The only downside was the local foot traffic passing through restricted areas. Despite the staff's best efforts to guide them, some people ignored the signs. But one of Kelowna's best dining experience on the lake! I look forward to coming back soon.

    One of my favourite restaurants but quality of food has gone significantly downhill. Great service though!

    Our server was outstanding. We were 3 women catching up after not seeing each other in a long time. She did. It rush us with ordering our meals. Food was great. Think that it was a bit on the pricey side tho!
