Year after year voted Best Brunch in the Okanagan, this brunch features an omelette station, daily market fresh selection of fish and meats, eggs benedict, bountiful desserts, various fresh fruits, all the traditional breakfast offerings and much more! Sunday Brunch at the El - an Okanagan tradition amongst patrons of Kelowna restaurants! Reservations are strongly recommended. Reservations available every Sunday from 10AM - 1PM.     The atmosphere and the food were very good. They were short staffed and it took half an hour before we even had anyone come over to pour us water and ask us if we would like a cocktail. It turned around after that and had a very pleasant evening. They just need more staff.

    What a mess - orders was incorrect, but server disappeared so that corrections couldn’t be made in time to get replacements. The replacement came back incomplete, and I was supposed to wait for the whole dish. My partner’s poached egg had bits of eggshell in it. I had to request a mimosa 3 times. The eggs Benedict had a weird biscuit at the bottom, that was not a good replacement (mushy and just threw off the whole dish). It’s an expensive venue, and you’d hope it would be a nice experience, but it was truly the amateur hour.

    The new chef's take on the menu was amazing. As a long-time resident and frequent visitor of The El, I can confidently say this last visit was the best yet. The only downside was the local foot traffic passing through restricted areas. Despite the staff's best efforts to guide them, some people ignored the signs. But one of Kelowna's best dining experience on the lake! I look forward to coming back soon.

    Our server was outstanding. We were 3 women catching up after not seeing each other in a long time. She did. It rush us with ordering our meals. Food was great. Think that it was a bit on the pricey side tho!

    Excellent food from a varied menu. Extensive wine menu (bottles or by the glass) Attentive and friendly service. Very nice surroundings, view of marina and lake.

    Went for Father’s Day brunch. Bella and Paula were attentive and amazing. Brisket was delicious! So happy the crab legs were brought back

    Brunch buffet was 10/10. Great food and selection. Service was lacking as she never came back after our initial greeting and beverages. Self served ourselves coffee and water from the server station. As it was a buffet and used several plates, we had 3 rounds of dishes (6-7 plates) on our table without anyone coming by to clear them. The table beside us left so we moved all our own plates to their dirty table to allow for some space and table maintenance. Those dirty dishes remained on that table the remainder of our dining experience- 30 minutes- without getting cleared. Flagged down a manager for the bill and he went around asking all the servers who was looking after our table instead of just printing it himself. She came by and asked “oh, do you not need any coffee or water?” even though our entire table had already packed up and left and I waited by myself to settle up. Attention to detail very lacking. Room was half empty getting reset for the next seating so no excuses. Would still recommend as it’s one of our staples and a must every time we visit Kelowna.
