In the mountains of North Georgia the Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant has been welcoming guests since 1922. Restored in 2008, the hotel and restaurant offer the best of rustic elegance. From the antique heart pine walls to the locust beams on our deck, expect unique, local craftsmanship. The decor is rich with period antiques, hand-woven rugs, and local artwork.

It features a creatively prepared and presented Contemporary American menu with a Southern twist in the farm to table tradition. Fresh produce locally grown is hand selected and prepared by our Chef de Cuisine, whose entrees respect the natural flavors of high quality, humanely raised and locally harvested food. His kitchen produces cuisines from many regions including Classical French, Southern USA, and Mediterranean. Many guests describe the food at the Lake Rabun Hotel as "the best in the mountains."

Wonderful experience with my girlfriends on our trip away! It is nestled in a quaint lake town and the in and restaurant are so very charming! The food and service was excellent!

This place is incredible!! The food, service, and ambience are all amazing!! Our server Jessie was so kind and attentive and our food was as good as any we have ever had! Don’t miss this hidden gem!

There was an issue with the kitchen and our order, however the situation was immediately explained and taken care of. The food, service and ambiance were all excellent.

The service is very hit and miss. Tonight was a miss. Had an early reservation but still waited for 25 min to be seated with only 1 other table in main dining room. We want this place to be good but marginal at best. Food was good.

I’m husband and I started with sharing a wedge salad, the best tasting one I’ve ever had. They even split it for us without asking. I had the salmon which was so amazing, a unique flavor and the portion was huge. The grits and broccolini were great too, perfectly cooked. My husband had the Bison burger. The flavor was good, but it came with two patties so no way you could bite into it. We would have preferred one patty and something more interesting on top. The only downfall were the cocktails. We ordered the Tequila Strawberry & the Blackberry Gin. Both were SUPER sweet and we could hardly drink them. The service was good and the atmosphere nice.

Pleasant, well-prepared dinner. Needs accommodated. Was server’s first night and despite her apologies for that she was flawless.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner with friends on the porch. Taylor was our waitress and she is just adorable! We were so pleased to see her again as she waited on us a few months ago. Cocktails were unique and fun @ the bar. All entrées were delicious! The AC wasn’t working on the porch, so a tad warm at the end of our meal; but, otherwise, a wonderful evening.
