Our $89 prix fixe tea service is offered Tuesday through Sunday.

Lady Mendl's is an unconventionally chic tea salon housed within a Georgian brownstone in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan. An opulent five-course tea is served in an eclectic and whimsical parlor by a doting staff. Patrons sip tea from hand culled vintage Wedgwood teacups as they nibble dainty finger sandwiches and house baked scones.

Evening Signature Cocktails:
Enter our private townhouse and discover our mixologist's curated range of cocktails; champagne, espresso martinis, fine scotch, etc.

Please note that our entrance is only accessible via a staircase of 10 steps. We do not have an elevator.

Located within The Inn at Irving Place, Lady Mendl's is housed in a Victorian style salon. Our private parties can accommodate up to 65 guests for a seated event and 75 guests for a cocktail party. In addition, our martini lounge, Cibar, is located on the ground floor and can also be used for private events or combined with the Lady Mendl's Salon. We are a beautiful location for destination weddings, bridal or baby showers, cocktail parties, and corporate events. Please complete an inquiry on our website for specific pricing.

English Breakfast
These medium sized leaves produce a copper liquid that has a bright and fragrant cup. The tea is smooth and full-bodied with a malty aftertaste that stands up to a splash of milk or lemon
Moroccan Mint Green
Transport yourself to a land of desert sands, caravans and palm tree filled oasis, with Moroccan Mint a delicious blend of spearmint and green tea. The green tea unfurls into large leaves, with a pale ecru cup and a strong minty flavor
Creamy Toasted Coconut - Oolong
This delightfully light tea brews to an ecru color and has the taste of baked goodies with an undertone of an earthly oolong. The rich exotic aroma is accompanied by the smooth, delicious taste of coconut macaroon with vanilla accents
Wonderland Rooibos (Decaf)
A wonderful blend of green rooibos with cacao and cinnamon and flavored with Bavarian chocolate, cinnamon and hazelnuts. It brews to a golden cup with the delicious aroma and taste of cinnamon baked goodies
Luscious Lemon (Decaf)
A lemony blend that combines organic lemon peel, organic lemongrass, organic lemon balm, and lemon verbena with natural lemon flavor

This is the best high tea in the city! The menu is delicious, the surroundings take you back in time, the service is impeccable! Everyone is kind and attentive. Can’t say enough to highly recommend Lady Mendl’s for a very special experience.

Best afternoon rea experience in NYC!! Perfect start to finish. We enjoy trying new places but Lady Mendl"s will be getting repeat visits from us.

I love afternoon tea, and I’ve been to many of them around NYC, some being the very expensive ones you see on all the “go to” lists. This is my favorite. The value is unmatched, service excellent, and food is fresh. Thanks for a great experience

We (my girlfriend and I) had a wonderful time at Lady Mendl’s! The food was delicious and even though it looks like it isn’t a lot — you kind of have to roll yourself out of there after the five-course meal😅! The service was speedy and attentive and the tea selection was wonderful. The building itself is ornate and eclectic, and really takes you right into an English tea room. Will definitely be back to show members of our families!
