Have ate there before and like it. This trip all meals were bland and had no flavor, including the peppercorn steak.

This is an excellent choice in Montclair. It's professional, well-staffed and the menu has plenty of choices. Everything was very good - we ordered four different pasta dishes and while all were very, very tasty, they were also a little heavy. That's my only negative.

Always a great experience. Seated promptly, excellent service and food. As usual I got the scallops, hubs and friend had pappardelle with meatball, other steak. All happy. Hadn’t seen our friends in awhile amd we were not rushed at all.

chef james continues to impress with his ever changing weekly specials menu. you can always get what’s on the regular menu including his signature house made linguine with shrimp scallops and crabmeat. this week i had the tuna crudo appetizer and the house made fresh fettuccine with lobster shrimp and crab in a wonderfully elegant pomodoro sauce that bursts with flavor. they way they prepare the shrimp is like no other restaurant we dine in and today was no exception. i know the seafood is fresh not frozen and the shrimp are plump and juicy with a pop when you bite into them, so flavorful and delicious. the generous amount lobster was prominently presented along with the crabmeat leaving out the need to hunt for it amongst the pasta. my wife had the half chicken with lemon and samoriglia sauce which she described as a most wonderful complement to the juicy chicken. as if that wasn’t enough we indulged in two of the dessert specials also made in house, strawberry shortcake and strawberry sorbet both of which are to die for! we dine out often and are usually here at least twice a month for what we describe as a most satisfying way to indulge.
