Always reliable, always good. Was [retty busy when we got there so some service aspects were a bit sower than their usual awesomeness. Had the stuffed squash blossom appetizer -- super yum. Same with the spinach ravioli special. -- excellent, fresh, great red sauce -- you could actually taste the freshness of the tomatoes. Loved our server Mike. Friendly, helpful, part of the whole table. Def back.

Always consistently good. Can comfortably order anything off of the menu - regardless of craving - comforted with knowing it’ll be great. They take pride in a great product. Covered patio is also really well done

Scotty is one of the best GM's a restaurant could have. He makes every dining experience a fantastic one. We were very pleased that we got Michael as our waiter as we sat inside and he usually works the outside patio. He was also great and so much fun. I was there with a work friend from out of town, and he wants to go back again when he's in town. No higher compliment can be paid!

The restaurant is pretty but nothing to write home about. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, the service is very good and the prices are in line with the aforementioned. The seating is your typical hard top, 2-tops with simple, semi comfortable chairs, put together in various configurations to accommodate all size parties, of course with table cloths, etc. In other wards, no special tables or booths, so it feels more like a cafeteria than a nice restaurant. The kitchen is semi open and the bar scene looks very nice.

Bread was very good, served warm. Caesar salad was just so-so, just romaine, dried out croutons, dressing and no cheese. Asked for light dressing with some on the side. Came loaded with dressing, so I didn’t use the extra dressing. We shared the chicken parmigiana, which didn’t come with pasta, instead a tasteless palenta , broccoli and potato’s. My wife determined the chicken was processed chicken. It was certainly not a fresh chicken breast. I’m very surprised, TripAdvisor’s ratings were good. We tried to order dessert, strawberry sorbet, but they were out and only had lemon. Sooooo disappointed. We were in Santa Monica for two nights and was so looking for a good dinner. At least we had one good meal at “The Lobster”.

The always wonderful food and service were superior, our choice of outdoor dining was a very bad one. Horrendous noise and fumes from traffic, won’t be doing that again!

Ive been coming to this restaurant for years. Last night my friends and I were disappointed with the dishes we ordered. Don’t know if there is a new chef, but the dishes were not up to par. Even the olive oil and garlic dip for the bread was overpowering with garlic. Service was also slower than usual and our food seemed to take longer to come out from the kitchen. Normally , La Vecchia Cucina receives 5 stars.
