La Trattoria Old Town vous propose une cuisine Italienne authentique depuis 1983. Situé au coeur de Key West au 524 Duval Street, ce restaurant de type bistro n’a jamais été délocalisé; il est resté là où tout a commencé, fidèle à ses origines. Si vous recherchez de l’intimité, il n’y a pas meilleur endroit dans les environs ! Tous les plats proposés sont préparés à base d’ingrédients frais exclusivement. Le plat de prédilection du restaurant, le vivaneau à queue jaune, (un poisson marin très utilisé dans la cuisine gastronomique), est pêché quotidiennement et immédiatement cuisiné. Il est préparé avec de l’ail frais, des tomates et des câpres dans une succulente sauce à base de beurre, de vin blanc et de citron dont vous vous souviendrez longtemps ! Au terme de votre repas, allez faire un tour du côté du Virgilios Martini Bar, situé juste derrière le restaurant. Un menu « Martini» vous y sera proposé. Vous profiterez des divers spectacles et autres manifestations organisés chaque soir, le tout dans un cadre idéal, juste à la sortie de Duval street.

The food was fresh and delicious. The dirty martinis were moderately priced and made very well. The service was excellent. We eat here every time we come to Key West.

We enjoy eating at La Trattoria Old Town, food is good, great prices (for KW) and our service last night was outstanding! The Martinis are excellent, especially the espresso and Milky Way!

Our hostess seated us and my wife ask to reseat us in a different part of the restaurant and she aid you pick a table and we then were seated and there was no problems. We started with wine and Appetizers. Insalata Caprese and Involtini di Melanzana con Ricotta. These were great starters and we asked if the meal could be served slowly. The waiter did a great job. I had the Veal Marsala. It was tender and I asked for extra Mushrooms and they were added. The Marsala was a cream sauce and was out standing. My wife had the Tortellini Virgilio and I tasted it I'm not a fan of Tortellini and they change my opinion. The waiter was great and provided a nice atmosphere. Our wine was good and was a fait value. We will certainly return.

We were having a lovely dinner until a family with two misbehaved children were seated near us. The kids were loud, one was crying - ruined our experience as well as those around us.

This is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in Key West. This visit was a bit different from our other visits. We had reservations but seemed like it did not matter. I wanted to order lasagna, it was 6:30. The waiter claimed they had none. Although, we heard someone else order veal parmigiana, and was remarked , it was not on the menu but did not matter they would make. It was the waiter,I wish I had gotten his name. Typically, great food, reasonably priced.
