La Trattoria Old Town vous propose une cuisine Italienne authentique depuis 1983. Situé au coeur de Key West au 524 Duval Street, ce restaurant de type bistro n’a jamais été délocalisé; il est resté là où tout a commencé, fidèle à ses origines. Si vous recherchez de l’intimité, il n’y a pas meilleur endroit dans les environs ! Tous les plats proposés sont préparés à base d’ingrédients frais exclusivement. Le plat de prédilection du restaurant, le vivaneau à queue jaune, (un poisson marin très utilisé dans la cuisine gastronomique), est pêché quotidiennement et immédiatement cuisiné. Il est préparé avec de l’ail frais, des tomates et des câpres dans une succulente sauce à base de beurre, de vin blanc et de citron dont vous vous souviendrez longtemps ! Au terme de votre repas, allez faire un tour du côté du Virgilios Martini Bar, situé juste derrière le restaurant. Un menu « Martini» vous y sera proposé. Vous profiterez des divers spectacles et autres manifestations organisés chaque soir, le tout dans un cadre idéal, juste à la sortie de Duval street.

My family eats here every time we’re in Key West and it never disappoints. We love this place so much that when I got married on Smathers Beach in October we had our reception dinner here! Tonight was just as wonderful! I tried the lasagna for the first time tonight and was delicious! My dad got the hogfish special and said it was phenomenal. Service was great as usual. Pip, thank you again for everything you did for our wedding dinner in October!! Your staff knocked it out of the park again tonight!

Food was excellent as always! Service was non-existent. Was told that my meal would take 20-25 minutes to prepare. Not a problem because it’s worth the wait! However, I did not realize that also meant you would not see your server again until after your meal had been delivered to your table! We had to go to the bar to refresh our drinks! Upon leaving, I spoke with the manager about how great the food was and the lack of service. He just smiled and said thanks. As much as we have loved this place over the years, we will not be back.

Perfect meal as always! Mushroom app was perfect and the bread with oil and balsamic is the best anywhere! Veal was amazing too. Never anything but perfection at this place.

An enjoyable dinner. Pretty consistent at this place each visit. In today’s world, it’s moderately priced, especially for Key West. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service was good.

The food is absolutely top notch! Fettuccine Alfredo was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. It most definitely was homemade right down to the noodles. La Trattoria is a must when visiting Key West.
