Absolutely excellent! Fantastic service, food and atmosphere. I struggle with finding quieter restaurants and La Storia was perfect for a small group without being too loud. Staff went above and beyond to help!

Unfortunately the restaurant is lacking in service and quality of the food. We ordered the seafood appetizer , the calamari were tough, the shrimp were rubbery. My branzino was not cooked in the sauce but either fried or cooked in the oven. My wife's pasta was OK. Waitress had so much perfume on that it was overwhelming.

Food was excellent! We had beet salad, meatballs, & gnocchi with pesto. Server was nice but very slow dining experience. We were charged for every iced tea refill at full price and not told refills were full price.

The Pork Shoulder dish was outstanding. We also enjoyed the Lasagna. We will definitely be back to La Storia.

We were disappointed with our experience at La Storia. The beet salad was flavorless, felt like the beets were canned and there was little to no dressing. The cauliflower steak was overcooked. The branzino was not crispy and the flavors of the pork shoulder were overwhelming and not well balanced. To top off the mediocre food, there were rats running around the patio where we were seated. Our waitress was great and very accommodating to our requests, but overall not a good experience.

The Apollo Arrosta was cooked perfectly. Tried the Lasagna alla Bolognese for the first time and will definitely order it again.

Fabulous evening. Everything was delicious from the cocktails to the rack of lamb to the dessert. It was the 4th or 5th time we have come to La Storia and have enjoyed every time. It has become my favorite restaurant in Chicago. I just didn’t like the charge for using a credit card.
