The entire evening at La Storia was wonderful. We began our evening choosing to be seated in their beautiful outdoor patio. The service was impeccable. We started with the Roasted Octopus which was cooked perfectly tender followed by the Branzino Livornese, again cooked perfectly, and the Pappardelle alla Bolognese with house-made pasta. A restaurant I would recommend and will be returning to again and again.

My favorite Chicago restaurant! I Love the ambience both indoor and in the back terrace. The menu is great. I always have trouble deciding what to order and whatever I do is always delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful and responsive. And is quiet! We can always have a conversation, not true in most restaurants these days. As I said, my favorite restaurant whenever I am in Chicago.

This by far is one of the best hidden gems that we have found when dining out during our trips to Chicago. Easy walking distance from our hotel. The cusine was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. Bar was delightful while we waited for our table.

All was great except for that $5 charge to use a credit card. Fortunately, they took it off the bill once I complained.
