First time at LA Prime by far is the BEST steakhouse in all of the City of Angels (DTLA). I truly can’t say anything negative. The whole evening was amazing!!!! The food speaks for itself and we had the most fun with our waitress (Norma). Full of life, fun, laughter and very hospitable. She is very hard working. Don’t ever loose Norma!! She is a main staple at LA Prime. Everyone in our party loved the whole evening. Thank you LA Prime restaurant for making our night out a memorable one. Job well done!!! Keep up the good work at what you provide the customers.

Food is pricey but excellent. I must say I never had scallops practically melt in my mouth, or brussel sprouts deep fried so they're crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We did get the wrong wine, it turned out the menu had two different ones by the same name and they were out of the one we wanted, so they substituted a somewhat more expensive one for the same price. No complaint about the service. The panoramic view provides bright light when the sun is up but the restaurant lighting is rather too dim after the sun sets, although I must admit if it was brighter it would be hard to see the night view outside.

The only thing I did not appreciate is staring at spider webs on the windows. I payed all this money should definitely not be displaying cob webs ruined the actual view.

The food and the outside view was great but some windows need to be cleaned or replaced cause it impairs enjoying the outside view. The food quality was really good and serving speed was also appropriate. However, valet parking service was horrible. First of all, we had to pay $11 with a validation and wait more than 40 min to get our car. I think it would be better for this hotel to discontinue the valet parking service.

Our waiter Jose was the best ever. He amazed us with several wine and food samplings. It all made for a great dining experience. Most importantly the food was really awesome.

A delightful wait staff to compliment the ambience. Knowing that wellness of your petite 8oz filet mignon is imperative to the palette! Admire your waiter when knowing the beverage and cocktails you requested satisfy a personal taste … the communication to the bartender was just amazing! It was a pleasurable dinner experience for a middle of the week indulgence.

Burrata and heirloom tomatoes to start along with Caesar salad and then the bone-in delmonico ribeye. Great steak with fantastic flavor. Too full for dessert. Service was impeccable—-server assistant, server, and manager were always around and refilling drinks, clearing plates, etc. We were very well taken care of but not rushed. Will definitely return next time we are in LA.
